Today I am preparing to begin a journey of weight loss, trying to curb my intake of excess food! Step one is setting up this blog as an online diary of my journey. Follow along as I attempt to lose about 50 pounds. Right now, I have not committed to any specific weight loss program or any specific exercise program. I am reluctant to put my weight and other specifics out for everyone, but I feel that if I am not more transparent, I will fail again. Beginning tomorrow morning upon waking, I will blog my morning weight each day. Throughout the day I will record my food intake and blog the food diary in the evenings. Words of encouragement and advice are welcome! Here we go!
