Day 5, Saturday, February 23, 2013

This morning I weighed in at 199.2 the same as yesterday. SO, I have few words. I will begin to track my food more carefully and try to balance carbs and calories more evenly. Monday I will begin my walking after school each day. Perhaps the increase in exercise will help. I don't know if myfitnesspal.com is right about my eating too few calories, but I have honestly not been going hungry. I will aim at the minimum of 1200 and maximum of 1600. I know that I must keep my carbs at 12 servings a day, however, for the Type 2 diabetes. 

I would think that giving up my daily treat of dry roasted peanuts would prompt some weight loss, but evidently, that's not correct. 

My goals for the next week are to increase my exercise--which won't be hard to do since I'm doing nothing presently--and my water intake. I drink more water at school than at home for some reason. I am working on that. I have switched from the dark cola diet drinks to the clear Sprite Zero. 

Today will present some challenges as I am eating breakfast and lunch out with Dillon and Kaycee! I will report back this evening to let you know how I did today!
