Today has been rather blah! I am dreading returning to school. This week of winter break has been wonderful; I hate to see it end.
My eating today has not been bad. Myfitnesspal.com says I have eaten too few calories, but my carbs are pretty much right on target??
Breakfast: Usual Visalus Shake 2 servings of carbs
Lunch: Steamed veggies and Ramen noddles 1/2 entree 1.75 servings of carbs, orange 1 serving of carbs
Dinner: Second half of noodle entree for 1.75 servings of carbs, mandarin oranges 1 serving of carbs
Evening Snack: Aldi popcorn for 1.5 servings of carbs, 1 banana with a tablespoon of sugar free chocolate sauce--probably 2 servings--large banana.
Although the scales read 199.2 (?) this morning, I know that I am eating correctly. I had 183 grams of carbs; my goal is 180. Pretty close. Calorie target is 1600; I fell short by 406 calories. Is that too much of a difference? I can add low carb veggies, I suppose. The fluctuations always frustrate me, but...that's part of the process.
About to go to bed! Dillon is sleeping over tonight and storms are supposedly coming our way with heavy rain! Hope everyone sleeps well.
